the home where our company was founded.

and reminds us of our mission and commitment

to our customers, our co-workers, and our communities.

Bailey
Bridgewater, PhD.

Funds Acquisition & Stewardship, Inclusivity & Accessibility

Bridgewater Writing &
Grant Services

At its essence, Bailey’s academic and career pursuits have focused on giving others the tools and opportunities needed to develop a voice and be heard. Armed with a Masters in English Literature and Doctorate of Philosophy and Higher Education Administration, Bailey merged Indiana State University’s student tutoring programs for Math and Writing into a single Student Success program, which as the Executive Director over a 10 year period she expanded further adding capacity and breadth of services offered, quadrupling the number of students receiving support.

Recognizing the power that descriptive and quantitative languages have when employed in concert is perhaps the key to her success as a grant writer. Her command of descriptive written English language, paired with the quantitative messages revealed in business accounting is perhaps why she has successfully guided organizations of all sizes in their pursuits, helping to raise over $45 million in funding from federal and private programs.

Bailey’s doctoral studies in Higher Education Administration, included its history, its successes and failures to promote social justice, resource management and leadership. Across her career she has expanded opportunities for others to access the gift of education. With this background, I have asked Bailey to advise Kalawa in the areas of grants stewardship, and inclusivity and accessibility topics.
